The 2nd Shanghai International Conference on Ultrafast Dynamics of Complex Systems (UDCS) will take place in Shanghai, China from August 1 to August 5, 2026. The venue is at the Jin Jiang Grand Hall of Jin Jiang Hotel in the center of Shanghai city.

    UDCS 2026 will celebrate the late Nobel Laureate Ahmed H. Zewail’s 80^th anniversary of his birth and commemorate the 10^th anniversary of his passing. The conference will bring together scientists from all over the world to share their latest aspirations in ultrafast science and focus on the most recent advances in understanding the dynamics of complex systems in physics, chemistry, biology and materials, enabled by ultrafast photons and electrons, with contributions from both theory and experiment. UDCS aims to develop into a series of biennial meetings and become an international hub for collaborative ultrafast science.
